My favourite blogger quote : Kerry Washington for Lucky. ” I am sure the plan was, “Let’s put Kerry Washington on the cover because America is obsessed with her right now,” and not, “Let’s put Kerry Washington on the cover and make her look like she’s suffering through menstrual cramps and an extreme cobweb attack while someone blows a wind cannon at her that’s making it impossible for her to open her eyes.”_Go Fug Yourself Hello There !! THERE IS NOTHING BIGGER THAN THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE. The September issue is always the cover to watch of the year.  The advantage is for the magazine and of course the brands that features the issue because of advertising. And also for the celebrity or the supermodels that strike the cover depending on the notoriety of the magazine. Most of the time it generate good communication for the product that the celebrity support, a new album (Katie Perry) a new movie ( Amber Heard, Diana) or it can help boost an entire career (Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez, Blake Lively) .  The fashion books, as well as some other categories, are the exception to industry-wide advertising declines (WWD).  And as every year the biggest cover is of course the Vogue issue. And this year Jennifer Lawrence made it. September’s advertising page totals came the usual hyperbolic boasts from publishers eager to wow female readers, advertisers and the press. In 2012, Vogue had its biggest September advertising haul, 658 pages, since the flush days of 2008. And in terms of advertising, from 171 for …

(Click on the image to enhance) Here we are back for our monthly Fashion Magazine Covers April issue recap ! The big winner – Vogue US – I have to say that once again my first choice is with Vogue  US putting FLOTUS Obama on top. The Boring – – This month is pretty boring actually. After the Oscar we see a little celebrity fatigue, even if W mag  puts  Brit Marling (Who the F*ck is she? The new Harvey Weinstein protégé?) and Eddie Redmayne as “Hollywood’s freshest faces”. – Taylor Swift on the Vanity Fair cover : “It’s Taylor Swift at her Taylor Swiftiest!” (Dlisted). You know that she worst magazine cover sellers in the past 5 years ? (Fashionista) So why keep putting her on top? I am sick of sweet Taylor Swift we are ALL sick of sweet Taylor Swift. Please give us more badass Lindsay Lohan. And Taylor also did the InStyle cover WTF?! Taylor Swift is a country mannequin robot who can’t function unless a barely legal white boy is …
