Celebrities create attention and bring prestige to brands, and may encourage higher recall (Erdogan, 1999; Tom et al.,

Michelle Williams post Marilyn in Louis Vuitton ads

The campaign marks Ms Williams’ first major fashion endorsement, aside from a brief spell as an ambassador for Band of Outsiders for spring/summer 2012.  Best known for her roles in “Brokeback Mountain” and “My Week With Marilyn,” Williams is currently filming “Suite Française” (WWD). Williams is in her way up and confirms her bankable stars statuts by endorsing her first luxury brand. Well done Michelle !

James Dean 2.0 for Gucci eyewear

James Franco will front the Italian brand’s eyewear campaign for fall. The Seventies-inspired aviators are a sophisticated evolution of the classic Bamboo version launched for spring 2013 (WWD). Is a  James Dean ( and not James Deen) biopic soon-to-be produce or something because James Franco is showing absolute lookalike with the iconic 70’s hollywood hot star.

Jennifer Aniston sans fard for Living Proof

Have you seen the little buzz last week of Jennifer instagramming herself without make up ? Yep J Aniston sure knows how  media work. It really is the best time for her to announce a soon to be pregnancy or wedding or something… she’s a real business woman goddam it !

Lou Doillon and her puppet “alter-ego” for Barneys

This ‘alter-ego’ concept, specifically the puppet itself, is integrated into all aspects of the project: the print campaign, a video filmed by Inez and Vinoodh during the shoot and the Madison window installation,” said Barneys creative director Dennis Freedman. The video features an animated version of Doillon by Jo Ratcliffe and a song from Doillon’s new album “Places,” for which she will be going on tour this fall. (WWD)

Kidman is looking nothing but Classy in the last Jimmy Choo campaign

Jimmy Choo’s new ad campaign featuring Nicole Kidman has a film noir feel — with a dash of the Hitchcock heroine. She’s no classy neither hot neither beautiful, she’s just Kidman and the next big actress of 2014 with the next multi million  big production “Grace of Monaco” So Jimmy Choo doesn’t have to worry about if she’s terrible or sexy or not she’ll probably win an Oscar and she will wear Jimmy Choos shoes on red Carpet during an entire season of promotion. This mean big CASH !!!

Adidas Looks to Justin Bieber to Reach Teens

Justin Bieber turned 19 on March 1 and the grownup version of himself is a little different from the fresh faced youngster that a good chunk of female record buyers fell for back in 2009 when his first EP came out. Bieber may have apologized for the pot-smoking images, but he seems to be heading into another level of celebrity where he takes his Beliebers a little too much for granted and that’s not a good sign for Adidas, which signed Bieber on to be the Global Style Icon for its NEO line back in October. Last week the label released a new lookbook featuring Bieber trying to look tough and cool while wearing the apparel. (brandchannel.com)

Gwyneth Paltrow x Dons Lot78 x Warby Parker x Hugo Boss

Every stars are looking to make a few extra bucks and Gwyneth Paltrow is no exception. Consumers can now witness her wearing the urban apparel of Lot78 and the company surely hopes folks will then order themselves the look, too.

Gwyneth (or Goopy as Lainey calls her) has also collaborated with Warby Parker for a line of special editions sunglasses priced rather affordably at $95.

Gwyneth is also the face of Hugo Boss. You know because Hugo Boss needs to target rich houseviwes who do nothing but yogaing and spending their rich husband money. So Gwyneth is doing what she does best, talking and talking and telling to women how to live an HEALTHY life and blahblahhhhhblaaa …. You can smell the money and the privilege coming off these videos, this photo !

Kate Hudson is the modern wonder woman with Ann Taylor

This ad campaign is so much about the new role and men’s fantasm of the modern woman. According to those ads, the modern woman is a super mother, she works, she is sexy, she make diner, she even pick up the journal on morning. WTF with this obsession the society have the woman always have to take so much responsability and where is the man in all of that ?? Is he absent, inexistant or ignorant ? The good old classic wifey representation of the woman always work….sadly…

Rihanna against TopShop

You probably heard it recently Rihanna won a legal fight with Topshop after it used her face on a T-shirt without permission.  She won and Topshop have to pay over 3 K$ in order to repair “damaged” cause to her image. Yeah well….End of the story. In other Rihanna news, RIRI and M.A.C will soon launch the second installment of RiRi Hearts MAC collection, and this I can’t wait.

This new collaboration with cosmetic brand is major deal for both Rihanna and M.A.C. The partnership, called RiRi Hearts MAC, kicks off with a signature red lippie based on the brand’s famous staple, Ruby Woo. “This collection has us feeling like good girls gone bad”. (refienery29.com)
